Wow this card is for my boss! but to be honest it could quiet easily be for me its so how i feel right now. I made this using all the papers from the making cards june issue the toppers i have scanned then copied on to card to be more stable.

finally arrived!

the baby is here! arrived around 12.15am by c-section weighing in at 6lb7oz a beautiful weight for a baby girl mum and baby doing well & Betty is on her was to meet her great granddaughter as i type, i made this card using Honey and hugs paper i went to Totnes & bought the embellishments they are beautiful. Now i just hope they like it, Hope all you girlie's are OK sorry it's been a while been busy with the kids and actually had a night out with friends on Saturday night which is something i haven't done for quit a while i had a fab time & we have decided not to leave it so long next time..today is my bosses birthday will be popping around to give her a pressie & card but I'm going to blog her card tomorrow take care for now love Sarah xoxo

baby girl!

well its a sad day for me today!
Will be attending a fruneral at 2pm to say farewell to a special lady who has recently lost her fight from breast cancer,After losing my nan 2yrs ago august to to thee same illness this is rather raw for me I'm hoping i can contain myself & not burst into tears like some fumbling idiot so fingers cross i keep myself under control. Back to the Card as the say we lose one life and along comes another so if you have been keeping upto date with my blog you will know Betty's grandaughter is about to give birth to a baby girl her name will be rebeca so this is what i have made for her!i Have used a template from arty party designs it is quiet simple one you have done it a few times,i have used fun card, fun foam,silver crepe paper stickers and embelishments to decorate. I Have entered this one into
I have enjoyed this one got to use a new technique well new for me i mean. I have used a Daisy & Dandelion with love stamp collection i coloured using 3 blue pro-marker tones then stickles to decorate tree,
papers i have used are Anita's classic Christmas blue papers and pale blue card for backing, this is it till Tuesday doing a girls day out to the local newton Abbott for shopping coffee & cake yum yum! so till then be well love Sarah xoxo

Another comp! (you never know)

This is another card for a comp i only have this penny black stamp but i like it so definitely room for more if my hubby allows me after ordering the cricut yesterday i doubt I'll be able to buy anything for a little while.
i have used some kanban card stock to make glitzy all the others are thing I've got in my stash the stamp is coloured using pro-markers.

50th for a man

hi guys!
Another card for today I've been spending time trying to cut a design but thought i would have the night on laptop for a change so here's a card i made yesterday for a lady's son in law the insert says (50 is the age of discovery,, you discover your ..............OLD lol.
the card is a blue 5x7 I've used blue card for backing & some flower paper from tragomills paper box all the other papers are from the 10p box,
the image is a clear stamp from its a mans world i just love the set Ive coloured it using pro-markers.
The sentiment i made using Microsoft office & added a few gems to jazz it up, i found the corner punch in my stash of things i bought out of the paper there were three boxes of card making things & i found that one in the bottom it is very painful on my hand to use so i doubt i will be using it often,well that's all for today going to have a very busy day tomorrow its the school fete in the afternoon and i need to bake cakes for sale in the morning ooooppppss I've forgot the eggs got to go love Sarah xxx

Birthday for another gran-daughter

this card is made using the pouches from qvc already put them to go use have made another which i will post another time!
the card is a 5x5 white penalized covered with black card then papers from 10p box i have loads lol!i punched out 3 dresses then used the matching stickers to decorate them i also added a few gems to bling it up a little the ribbon is out of my stash. The sentiment i done on the computer but I'm still having a dilemma about how to spell gran daughter or granddaughter any ideal from you girl would help!
I found a little shop yesterday in Totnes (Devon) called finishing touches they are so so helpful had a cuttle-bug demonstration then went back today for a cricut demo guess what.....
wait for it......
oops I've gone and bought a cricut machine he he he now all i have to do wait after all it has to come from Holland hum ( an American ) product from Holland , Don't you just hate waiting lol!any way i have loads to keep me busy have go make fairy cakes for my boys Leo the youngest requested them before nursery take care all of you catch up soon love Sarah xoxo

18th birthday girl

I am sorry i didn't blog yesterday but i was so busy i never got around to it so here is a card i made last night its for a friends 18Th birthday I've made it for her grandmother to give her i always feel uncomfortable do this as I'm worried they wont like it anyway its done now so hope she does. the card is a simple white 5x7 backed with black card then papers used are from 10p box, sentiment was made on the computer the dress is from a design i copied from another card wrapped with black material with ribbon around the waistband and a small embellishment. I have used stickers to add to the sentiment and as decor.

Slow Go!

i just loved doing this stamp took me a while to get the colours but i have to remember im still new at this! A while ago!

Well what a day!
i am so tired but always have time for craft lol, I have just sat down to do a little but thought i would post before i start.
This card i did a little while ago the dress template was made by a lovely friends hubby it is such a elegant look i couldn't resist using it for Libby a young girl i work with. The colours were matching her bridesmaids dresses the paper i got was so pretty but i have no ideal what make now, My friend Cindy picked up the sentiment a while ago so not sure where they came from but a lovely thought as i had only just started to get interested in making cards. The flowers i wrapped in tissue paper around the stems then covered in ribbon to make is look like a bouquet to embellish i used a the same ribbon as the flowers & a few stickers in each of the corners to finish. If i was doing it now i think i would do the finishing touches better but hey ho whats done is done and Libby was very pleased maybe not with the card as much as the voucher inside. Any way hope you enjoy having a look check out tomorrow's blog, tonight I'm going to use a Penny Black stamp for the first time hope it turns out well, good night all love Sarah xoxo

AS PROMISED

Imade this card last night i just love the colours it's made using a stamp & embossing using heat gun, i then coloured with pro-markers which im still making my collection but love using them.
papers are from the 10p box again i pop in all the time to check new designs, the sentament i did on the computer using (word) office and used a few gems to embelish the ribbon is a christmas ribbon on the other side it say's happy new year lol! but it went so well with the colours i couldn't resist. Well my post will be late tomorrow as im working at the salon but i will be blogging later in the evening thanks for looking and dont forget to make a comment i love to read them love sarah xoxo

well it's just a quickie today as i've just been called into the salon to help out! Happy Birthday Kimberly

Well it's a busy day today of out to do a friends hair a wonderful lady in her 90's. Hope to pop into town to pay off some more of our family holiday for next year may sneak into craft shop.
I've been promising Betty i would go round and pick up a few pots of lilly's as the yellow centre's stained her hair lol!
Talking of betty this is someone who's hair i do in the salon on thursday she is great in her 80's and a good laugh,this card is for her great grandaughter Kimberly bless her 2years old will take it to Betty this afternoon or atleast try lol x
Imade this card using 5x7 pink pearlised card, backing card is from my stash, pink diamond paper was from local craft shop in the 10p box and the top papers is from bloom and grow (my minds eye)emboosed sheets.
The topper is made from a clear stamp collection i think it is huney & hugs range (papermania) but im not sure it is coloured using pro-markers and i have decorated using gem's.
Sentament is done using stickers had a nightmare trying to get them straight but i think they will pass. Well thats enough dribble for one day im off to jump in the bath before i start my busy day, take care love sarah xoxo

DIAMOND ANNIVERSARY

hi eveyone! Thanks for stopping by to take a gander. I made this card the other day using a template it was bought for a golden wedding anniversary but it's not till october so using it to practice however there is a diamond anniversary coming up so this is a final.

It's card is from A4 card stock pearlised (white) creased & folded in the middle the top is made using fun foam cut out to the template then covered in silver crepe paper the stem is made with two template one is larger than the other and used lilac for bottom silver mirror for top added some grey and puple/silver ribbon then topped of with some beautiful rose buds cream & purple.

The Label template was also in with the set so i've done this in lilac and used sticker embelishments to decorate. Sticker colours are great they are pearlised with flex of silver very sparkley so so me hope the happy couple like it.... Right im off to do some lunch before the boys come home from school, My eldest had a award in assembly today for star worker we didnt remember to go so feeling very guilty need to spoil him when he gets home.....catch up with you all tommorow love sarah xoxo OOPS LABEL ON TEMPLATE IS DIFFERENT SHAPE SORRY !

Just resting my eyes

well well i have been playing with this blog all day on and off. Don't think I'm getting the hang of it yet, here's another card it is a 5x7 made using it's a mans world clear stamps coloured with pro-markers the sentiment is also from the stamps i have no ideal what papers I've used have so many now also used a few buttons to embellish i have added the sentiment and stamp using 3d foam pads. Sorry about the the blob of light on the left i had already bagged the card before i took the photo, right now I'm going of to check out face book before every one thinks I've disappeared hope to catch up tomorrow love sarah xx
